About Us

Our family purchased the farm in 2019 from a family friend.  We were impressed with the property and the condition of the two old dairy barns.  Our family has a history in agriculture and were interested in making a barn venue to share and enjoy that rustic setting with future generations.   This property was perfect for that vision.  We began rennovating the upper portion of the two barns in mid 2020.  As we were near the completion in July of 2023, we decided to have a party with some friends to see our barns.  On the evening of the party, we were all sitting outside enjoying the beautiful sunset over the creek when we saw several fireflies lighting up the area.  Our friends were amazed at the beautiful views, our barns and property.  We soon decided on "Firefly Moments Barn & Venue" as our name because it reflects the small moments in life where you make life long memories.  

Our oldest daughter had our debut wedding in September of 2023.  We have since allowed others to enjoy our beautiful venue and scenery.  Today our property continues to be a working farm consisting of dairy goats, mini pigs, chickens, horses, and antique farm equipment for display.  We grow and harvest our own crops and milk the goats in the lower part of the barns.  Our family makes and sells goat milk soap & lotion on the farm as well.  We absolutely love watching people enjoy our beautiful rustic venue and the friendly animals on the farm.  All of which make memories to last a lifetime.
